Chin Lift

1. Fingers of 1 hand under mandible.
2. Gently lift upwards - bring chin anterior.
3. Thumb of same hand gently opens mouth
- may also place thumb behind lower incisors to gently lift chin.
Note
Do not hyperextend the neck.

Jaw Thrust

1. Grasp the angles of the lower jaw, one in each hand.
2. Displace the mandible forward
